Reference Centre for Teaching International Humanitarian Law and Ethics

The Centre of Reference for the Education of International Humanitarian Law and Ethics is mandated by the International Committee of Military Medicine (ICMM), and its Director is elected by the General Assembly. Management works closely with the ICMM Scientific Committee. Vision The ICMM Reference Centre for Teaching International Humanitarian Law and Ethics is a centre for academic analysis, open discussion, and consultation on IHL related to the activities of military medical personnel and military medical ethics in general. It is a neutral, politically and religiously independent institution that cooperates with experts from all over the world. It aims to be the leading provider of research and education in medical ethics in times of armed conflict.
